The Olde Ship Inn - Seahouses

What a gem! The cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and good breakfast made our stay really good. Our room had character and was spacious, though the climb up the stairs was a bit challenging. The views of the Farne Islands were amazing. Perfect spot for exploring the area!

I had a great stay at the Olde Ship Inn, which really exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, despite the busy bar and restaurant. The food was decent, and the overall service was impressive, even with some new faces on the team. The charming decor added to the unique experience, making it all the more enjoyable.

Our good sized and fashionable room had a TV set, tea-making facilities and tea, coffee. The location was fantastic and lovely yet it was next door to downtown area, just 5 minutes by foot. You can find Spice House next door to the hotel to a have lunch.

I recently had a good experience at the Olde Ship Inn. The atmosphere was vibrant, and despite being busy, the staff were attentive. I enjoyed a delicious meal that arrived promptly. The fish and chips were tasty, and the desserts were just as impressive. I felt welcomed, and the character of the place added to my overall enjoyment.

I have stayed in bungalow with armchairs, good facilities, a large bath for 3 nights.

Staff is absolutely excellent and efficient!

Really good food and charming ambiance

I enjoyed a wonderful stay, impressed by the good seafood dishes like the crab sandwich, showcasing local flavors. The decor was filled with nautical memorabilia. The breakfast offered a variety of options including delicious kippers that satisfied my cravings. The staircase to the upper floors could use some improvements for better safety.

Access to rooms involves navigating steep, narrow stairs, which might be challenging for some guests, particularly those with larger luggage or mobility concerns. Limited parking primarily caters to disabled guests, leaving others to search for public options nearby, which can be inconvenient during busy periods. The bar area, buzzing with patrons, can make it tricky to grab a drink or find a quiet spot, though the restaurant remains a more serene alternative for dining.

The ambience was lovely, and the seafood chowder was just as amazing as I hoped. The quirky vibe added a charm to our stay. I'd definitely come back for another visit!

I had a great time trying the crab soup, and breakfast was massive and delicious! The veggie curry with chicken was a highlight, too. I'll definitely revisit!
